With the sublime vibe of an island oasis, the Retreat Writing Desk is crafted of Oak and Maple Veneers in a Bamboo motif and accented by rope. X-design stretchers on the back and sides distinguish the piece, along with the sand-colored Dune finish, transparent by design to showcase the unique patterns of the wood veneer. Featuring three drawers, the left and right drawers have two removable dividers. One pencil tray and one writing slide may be used on either side, and the center drawer has a drop-front for keyboard use. Finished on all sides. Retreat is crafted with flat cut cathedral oak veneers and is characterized by two distinct finishes. Each finish is transparent by design to showcase the unique grain patterns of the veneer. Dune is light as sand and smooth as a shore after a receding tide. The second finish, Black Sand was inspired by the black silk sands found on the shorelines of exotic beaches of Maui and Tahiti.
